TIS11D Antibody (A-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TIS11D protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TIS11D Antibody (A-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TIS11D, also known as ZFP36LA (zinc finger protein 36, C3H type-like 2), BRF2 (butyrate response factor 2), ERF2, or RNF162C, is a 494 amino acid protein primarily localized in the nucleus and features two CSH1-type zinc finger domains, which are crucial for function as a transcription factor. TIS11D plays a significant role in regulating gene expression in response to growth factors by binding to specific RNA sequences, thereby influencing cellular responses vital for processes such as cell proliferation and differentiation. The gene encoding TIS11D is located on human chromosome 2, a region rich in genes and implicated in various genetic disorders, including Harlequin ichthyosis and Alström syndrome, highlighting TIS11D′s importance in both normal cellular function and disease states.
