TIRAP Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TIRAP in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TIRAP, also known as MyD88 adapter-like protein, plays a crucial role in the innate immune response by acting as a signaling adapter that links Toll-like receptors (TLRs) to downstream signaling pathways, including the activation of NFκB and mitogen-activated protein kinases. TIRAP is primarily located in the cytoplasm, where TIRAP forms homodimers and heterodimers with MyD88, facilitating the recruitment of interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinases (IRAKs) to TLRs. Proper functioning of TIRAP is vital for effective immune responses, as TIRAP ensures rapid activation of inflammatory pathways in response to microbial infections. Dysregulation of TIRAP signaling can lead to impaired immune responses or excessive inflammation, highlighting TIRAP′s importance in maintaining immune homeostasis. Anti-TIRAP antibody (B-3) is an essential tool for researchers studying the mechanisms of immune signaling and the role of TIRAP in various diseases.
