TIP120B Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TIP120B protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-TIP120B antibody (H-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TIP120B plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation, specifically as a TBP-interacting protein that enhances the activity of the TATA-binding protein (TBP). This interaction is vital because TBP is a key component of the transcription machinery, necessary for the assembly of the preinitiation complex and the recruitment of RNA polymerase II, which is essential for the transcription of protein-coding genes. TIP120B is predominantly expressed in muscle tissues, distinguishing itself from TIP120A, which is more widely expressed. The unique expression pattern of TIP120B suggests specialized functions in muscle gene regulation, potentially influencing muscle development and function. Using TIP120B (H-7) monoclonal antibody in research can provide insights into the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation and the specific roles of TIP120B in muscle biology.
