    SEE ALSO...

Tie-1 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Tie-1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Tie-1 is a crucial receptor tyrosine kinase that plays a significant role in the regulation of endothelial cell function and vascular development. Tie-1′s unique multidomain structure, which includes three epidermal growth factor homology motifs and fibronectin type III repeats, is essential for interaction with other proteins and for mediating cellular signaling pathways. Proper functioning of Tie-1 is vital for maintaining vascular integrity and promoting angiogenesis, making Tie-1 a key player in both normal physiological processes and pathological conditions such as tumor growth and metastasis. Additionally, Tie-1 interacts with Tie-2 to form a complex signaling network that regulates blood vessel formation and stability. anti-Tie-1 antibody (G-4) is an invaluable tool for researchers studying these critical processes in human health and disease.

What blocking solution should I use with Tie-1 (G-4): sc-365257 monoclonal antibody for Western blot?

    Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. We recommend blocking with Blotto (either TBS Blotto A: sc-2333 or TBS Blotto B: sc-2335). Our Western blot protocol can be found here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/western-immuno-blotting
