TGase2 Antibody (4G3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TGase2 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-TGase2 antibody (4G3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TGase2 plays a crucial role in cellular processes by catalyzing the formation of isopeptide bonds, which are essential for cross-linking proteins through the action of transglutaminases. This enzymatic activity is vital for the formation of the cross-linked cell envelope, a key structural component of the epidermis that provides mechanical strength and barrier function to the skin. The cross-linked cell envelope is generated through the formation of disulfide bonds and γ-glutamyl-lysine isodipeptide bonds, which are critical for maintaining the integrity of the epidermis during processes such as differentiation and wound healing. Additionally, TGase2 is involved in various biological functions, including blood coagulation, cell differentiation, and apoptosis, highlighting its importance in both normal physiology and pathological conditions. TGase2 (4G3) monoclonal antibody recognizes the first binding domain of TGase2, making this antibody an invaluable tool for researchers studying the diverse roles of TGase2 in cellular biology.

I bought the L form of this antibody, sc-73612 L for blocking (neutralization). How long can I store this at in the refridgerator?

Asked by: jenniferc
The L form of the antibody should be stored at -20°C. Once thawed, we recommend using as soon as possible, although it is usually stable for up to 2 weeks at 4 degrees.
