TCL-1A Antibody (1-21) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TCL-1A of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP). TCL-1A (1-21) antibody is available in non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. T-cell Leukemia/Lymphoma Protein 1A (TCL-1A), also known as p14TCL1, is a product of the TCL1 gene and plays a critical role in T-cell prolymphocytic leukemia (T-PLL), a rare and aggressive form of mature T-cell leukemia. TCL-1A belongs to a unique family of beta barrel proteins that bind small hydrophobic ligands, essential for cell regulation. TCL-1A features an eight-stranded antiparallel beta barrel composed of two four-stranded beta-meander motifs, connected by a long loop, and forms a stable dimer in crystallographic structure. This structural integrity enables TCL-1A′s function in cellular processes, particularly in T-cell development and survival regulation. TCL-1A expression occurs predominantly in pre-B cells and immature thymocytes, with lower levels in activated T cells, and localizes in the cytoplasm, highlighting TCL-1A′s role in signaling pathways that govern T-cell maturation and function.
