    TBCC Antibody (G-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TBCC protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TBCC (G-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TBCC protein, also known as tubulin-specific chaperone C, plays a crucial role in proper folding and assembly of tubulin, which is essential for microtubule formation, the primary components of the cytoskeletal network. Microtubules are vital for numerous cellular processes, including maintaining cell shape, enabling intracellular transport, and facilitating cell division. TBCC′s function in promoting tubulin polypeptide release into their native state is particularly important, as disruption in this process can lead to cytoskeletal abnormalities and has been linked to various diseases, including X-linked retinitis pigmentosa, where mutations in related proteins result in photoreceptor cell degeneration. Using anti-TBCC antibody (G-10) in research can provide valuable insights into microtubule dynamics and their implications in cellular health and disease.

    Thank you for your question. Yes, TBCC (G-10): sc-390635 has been validated for use in IHC with paraffin-embedded sections.
