    SEE ALSO...

TANK Antibody (H-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects TANK in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TANK, or TRAF family member-associated NFKB activator, plays a crucial role in the regulation of the NFkB signaling pathway, which is vital for immune response, inflammation, and cell survival. Located primarily in the cytoplasm, TANK interacts with TRAF proteins, particularly TRAF2, to facilitate the activation of NFkB upon stimulation by ligands such as TNF or CD40L. TANK′s cellular location enables functioning as a regulatory hub, remaining inactive in unstimulated cells due to its carboxy-terminal domain. Upon binding to TRAF2, TANK undergoes a conformational change that releases this inhibition, allowing for the subsequent activation of NFkB. This mechanism highlights TANK′s essential function in modulating immune signaling and underscores TANK′s potential as a target for therapeutic interventions in diseases characterized by dysregulated NFkB activity. Anti-TANK antibody (H-10) serves as an invaluable tool for researchers investigating the complexities of immune signaling pathways and their implications in various biological processes.
