TAL1 Antibody (2TL242) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects the TAL1 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and immunohistochemistry. Anti-TAL1 antibody (2TL242) plays a crucial role in understanding the pathogenesis of T cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia, as TAL1 activation is implicated in approximately 60% of cases, representing the most common gain-of-function mutation in this malignancy. TAL1, also known as SCL, is a serine phosphoprotein and a basic helix-loop-helix transcription factor that is essential for regulating embryonic hematopoiesis.
