    SEE ALSO...

TAF II p18 Antibody (A-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects TAF II p18 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TAF II p18 (A-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TAF II p18 plays a crucial role in assembling transcription factor TFIID, which is essential for preinitiation complex formation at the TATA promoter element. TFIID is a multisubunit complex composed of TATA-binding protein and several TBP-associated factors (TAFs), including TAF II p18, which belongs to a family that includes p28, p32, p100, p130, p170, and p250. TAF II p18′s interaction with other TAFs, particularly TAF II p28, is vital for transcription regulation, as these proteins work together to enhance various nuclear receptor activities, including estrogen and vitamin D3 receptors. TAF II p18 also modulates transcriptional response during cellular stress, highlighting TAF II p18′s importance in gene expression regulation and cellular homeostasis. Anti-TAF II p18 antibody (A-5)′s availability in multiple formats enables versatile research applications, making this antibody an invaluable tool for studying transcriptional regulation in various biological contexts.
