SEE ALSO...

TADA2B Antibody (MB-56) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects TADA2B protein of human origin by western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-TADA2B antibody (MB-56) is available as a non-conjugated format. TADA2B, also known as Transcriptional adapter 2-beta or ADA2B, is a crucial 420 amino acid protein localized in the nucleus, where TADA2B plays a significant role in transcriptional regulation. TADA2B contains one SANT domain, which facilitates protein-protein interactions, and one ZZ-type zinc finger, a motif essential for protein-DNA binding. TADA2B acts as an activator for Pax-5-dependent transcription, a process vital for B-cell development and function. TADA2B achieves this by interacting with key proteins such as Brg-1 and BAF57, which are integral to the formation of the histone acetyltransferase complex, thereby linking transcriptional activators to the basal transcription machinery. TADA2B exists in three isoforms due to alternative splicing, which may contribute to functional diversity in various cellular contexts.

I am using TADA2B (MB-56): sc-130479 antibody for immunoprecipitation, how much antibody should I use?

Asked by: jenniferc
Thank you for your question. We recommend using 1–10 µl (i.e., 0.2–2 µg) of antibody with 1 ml of cell lysate. However, optimal antibody concentration should be determined by titration. Please find our full immunoprecipitation protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/immunoprecipitation-western-blots
