SEE ALSO...

TACC3 Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects TACC3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). TACC3 (C-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. TACC3, part of the transforming acidic coiled-coil (TACC) family, plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation and mitotic spindle assembly, which are essential for proper cell division. Dysregulation of TACC3 has been implicated in various cancers, including breast cancer, where TACC3 may contribute to tumorigenesis through interactions with microtubules and centrosomes, thereby affecting cell growth and differentiation. The TACC family, which includes TACC1, TACC2, and TACC3, is located in close proximity to fibroblast growth factor receptor genes, suggesting a coordinated role in cellular processes. Understanding TACC3 function is vital, as TACC3 may serve as a potential biomarker for cancer progression and a target for therapeutic intervention.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376883 P appropriate for?

Asked by: Randy McDonald
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
