T6BP Antibody (H-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects T6BP protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). T6BP (H-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. T6BP, also known as Tax1 binding protein 1, plays a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways by interacting with tumor necrosis factor receptor (TNFR)-associated factors (TRAFs), specifically TRAF6. This interaction facilitates the formation of signaling complexes essential for mediating inflammatory responses. T6BP binds to the N-terminal ring finger and zinc finger domains of TRAF6 through its coiled-coil region, which is important for downstream signaling events triggered by interleukin-1 (IL-1). Upon IL-1 stimulation, T6BP forms a complex with TRAF6 and interleukin-1 receptor-associated kinase (IRAK), highlighting T6BP′s role in immune response regulation. T6BP does not directly activate IkB kinases or Jun N-terminal kinase but can inhibit apoptosis induced by tumor necrosis factor (TNF) in NIH/3T3 cells, which is significant for cell survival during inflammatory conditions. T6BP interacts with A20, a Cys2/Cys2 zinc finger protein induced by various inflammatory stimuli, thereby mediating A20′s anti-apoptotic activity. This multifaceted role of T6BP in cellular signaling and apoptosis underscores T6BP′s importance in understanding immune regulation and potential therapeutic targets in inflammatory diseases.
