T3JAM Antibody (B-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects T3JAM of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). T3JAM (B-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. T3JAM, also known as TRAF3-interacting JNK-activating modulator or TRAF3IP3, is a 551 amino acid single-pass type IV membrane protein that plays a crucial role as an adaptor molecule in modulating the c-Jun N-terminal kinase (JNK) pathway, which is essential for regulating cell growth and survival. T3JAM is predominantly expressed in the thymus, bone marrow, and spleen, where T3JAM interacts specifically with TRAF3 through a coiled-coil domain, highlighting T3JAM′s importance in immune signaling pathways. T3JAM associates exclusively with TRAF3 and not with other members of the TRAF family, indicating a specialized function in cellular signaling. T3JAM is encoded on human chromosome 1, which harbors genes frequently implicated in various cancers, including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma, and multiple myeloma. Alternative splicing of T3JAM results in three distinct isoforms, underscoring T3JAM′s complexity and regulatory potential in cellular processes.
