SEE ALSO...

SUCLG2 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SUCLG2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-SUCLG2 antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SUCLG2, also known as G-BETA or succinyl-CoA synthetase beta-G chain, is a 432 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the tricarboxylic acid cycle, a key metabolic pathway for energy production. SUCLG2 is primarily located in the mitochondria, where SUCLG2 dimerizes with SUCLG1 to form a GTP-specific enzyme complex, essential for catalyzing the conversion of succinate and CoA into succinyl-CoA, GDP, and inorganic phosphate. SUCLG2 is vital for efficient energy metabolism, and SUCLG2 dysregulation can lead to metabolic disorders. The gene encoding SUCLG2 is located on human chromosome 3p14.1, highlighting SUCLG2′s evolutionary conservation across species.
