STAMBPL1 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects STAMBPL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). STAMBPL1 (C-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. STAMBPL1, also known as AMSH-FP or ALMalpha, is a 436 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in protein degradation regulation through zinc metalloprotease function. STAMBPL1 specifically cleaves Lys-63-linked polyubiquitin chains, which are important for various cellular processes, including DNA repair, signal transduction, and protein interaction modulation. STAMBPL1′s ability to bind two zinc ions per subunit and unique structural features, including one MPN domain and a JAMM motif, are essential for protease activity, making STAMBPL1 a key player in maintaining cellular homeostasis. STAMBPL1 gene is located on human chromosome 10q23.31, a region that harbors several important genes, including tumor suppressor gene PTEN, which is implicated in Cowden syndrome when mutated. Understanding STAMBPL1 function and interactions is vital for elucidating STAMBPL1′s role in various diseases, including cancer, where dysregulation of ubiquitin pathways can lead to tumorigenesis.
