    SEE ALSO...

STAF42 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects STAF42 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). STAF42 (B-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. STAF42, also known as SPT3-associated factor 42, transcriptional adapter 1, ADA1, HFI1, or hADA1, is a 335 amino acid nuclear protein that plays a crucial role in transcriptional regulation as a component of the STAGA transcription coactivator-histone acetyltransferase complex. This complex is essential for the regulation of gene expression, influencing various cellular processes such as differentiation, proliferation, and response to environmental signals. STAF42 is encoded on human chromosome 1, which harbors numerous disease-associated genes, including those linked to familial adenomatous polyposis, Stickler syndrome, Parkinson′s disease, Gaucher disease, schizophrenia, and Usher syndrome. Chromosome 1 is also implicated in various cancers, including head and neck cancer, malignant melanoma, and multiple myeloma, making STAF42 and its interactions vital for understanding these diseases and developing potential therapeutic strategies.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Clean bandI received this antibody as a sample from Santa Cruz and I am so happy with the results. I used it at 1:5000 O/N with a NU-PAGE on PVDF (WCE 293Ts) and I got a very clean band at the correct size.
