SEE ALSO...

SPATA10 Antibody (C-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SPATA10 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SPATA10 (C-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SPATA10 protein, also known as SPATS2 (spermatogenesis-associated serine-rich protein 2), SCR59 (serine-rich spermatocytes and round spermatid 59 kDa protein), or p59scr, is a 545 amino acid cytoplasmic protein that plays a crucial role in spermatogenesis, particularly in sperm cell development and maturation. SPATA10 function is essential for male fertility, as disruptions in SPATA10 expression can lead to impaired spermatogenesis and associated infertility issues. SPATA10 gene is located on human chromosome 12q13.12 and mouse chromosome 15 F1, a region linked to various skeletal deformities and developmental disorders. Understanding SPATA10′s role in cellular processes not only sheds light on male reproductive health but also provides insights into potential therapeutic targets for treating infertility.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-390306 P appropriate for?

Asked by: jerojero
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
