SOCS-7 Antibody (E-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SOCS-7 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SOCS-7 (E-8) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SOCS-7 protein plays a crucial role in the negative regulation of cytokine signaling, which is essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and preventing excessive inflammatory responses. SOCS-7 is located in the cytoplasm, where SOCS-7 interacts with various signaling pathways, particularly those activated by cytokines such as interleukin-6. This localization enables SOCS-7 to effectively modulate the activity of Janus kinases (JAKs) and signal transducer and activator of transcription (STAT) proteins, thereby influencing gene expression and cellular responses to external stimuli.
