Snk Antibody (E-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Snk protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Snk antibody (E-10) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Snk protein, also known as Polo Like Kinase 2, is a serine/threonine kinase that plays a crucial role in cell cycle regulation and is involved in the control of cell proliferation. Snk protein is rapidly expressed as an immediate-early response gene during G1 phase, where its activity is essential for transition into S phase. Snk protein accumulates during S and G2 phases, with levels peaking at mitosis onset, which is critical for proper cell division. Understanding Snk function is vital, as dysregulation of this kinase can lead to various diseases, including cancer, making Snk protein a significant target for therapeutic intervention.
