SmarcAL1 Antibody (E-12) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SmarcAL1 in human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SmarcAL1, also known as HARP (HepA-related protein) or HHARP, is a 954 amino acid protein belonging to the SWI/SNF family of helicase and ATPase proteins, which are crucial for chromatin remodeling. SmarcAL1 is primarily localized in the nucleus, where SmarcAL1 plays a vital role in ATP-dependent nucleosome-remodeling activities, facilitating DNA accessibility for transcription and repair processes. SmarcAL1 includes one conserved C-terminal SNF2 domain, one helicase ATP-binding domain, and two HARP domains, which are essential for function in chromatin dynamics.
