    SH2D1A Antibody (A-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects SH2D1A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-SH2D1A antibody (A-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SH2D1A protein, also known as SH2 domain protein 1A, SAP, and CD150/SLAM-associated protein, plays a crucial role in immune signaling by modulating the activity of signaling lymphocyte activation molecules (SLAM) at the interface between T and B cells. Specifically, SH2D1A inhibits the recruitment of the tyrosine phosphatase SHP2 to the phosphorylated cytoplasmic domain of SLAM, thereby influencing T cell expansion during immune responses and promoting the production of interferon-γ. This protein is hydrophilic and consists of 128 amino acids, exhibiting 96% homology with its mouse counterpart in both SH2 and tail domains. SH2D1A is expressed in all major subsets of T cells, including CD4+, CD45RO+, CD45RA+, and CD8+, but is absent in B cells. Additionally, SH2D1A interacts with several cell-surface receptors, including SLAM (CD150), CD84, CD229 (LY9), and CD244 (2B4), through its SH2 domain, highlighting its significance in T cell signaling and immune regulation.

    We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGλ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems.
