SEE ALSO...

SerRS Antibody (C-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SerRS protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-SerRS antibody (C-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SerRS, also known as seryl-tRNA synthetase, plays a crucial role in protein synthesis by catalyzing the aminoacylation of tRNASer with serine, thereby ensuring accurate translation of genetic information into functional proteins. SerRS (C-2) monoclonal antibody recognizes a cytoplasmic enzyme that exists as a homodimer, featuring a core catalytic domain and a tRNA-binding domain essential for function. SerRS recognizes and serylates both tRNASer and tRNASec, involved in selenocysteine biosynthesis, a critical amino acid for antioxidant defense and redox regulation. anti-SerRS antibody (C-2) serves as a valuable tool for researchers studying protein synthesis and post-translational modifications, particularly in contexts involving cellular homeostasis and oxidative stress responses.
