SEMA6A Antibody (B-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects SEMA6A protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-SEMA6A antibody (B-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SEMA6A, also known as Semaphorin-6A or SEMA VIA, plays a crucial role in neural development and is involved in the regulation of axon guidance. SEMA6A functions as a single-pass type-I transmembrane protein that forms homodimers or oligomers when active, and is primarily expressed in undifferentiated embryonic stem cells, endodermal progenitors, and the adult brain. SEMA6A acts as a repellent for sympathetic ganglion axons through interaction with receptors such as plexin-A2 and plexin A-4. SEMA6A has been implicated in inhibiting growth factor- and tumor-induced angiogenesis, making SEMA6A a significant target for research in developmental biology and cancer therapeutics.
