Sec8 Antibody (B-11) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Sec8 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Sec8 (B-11) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Sec8 protein plays a pivotal role in the exocyst complex, which is essential for the proper targeting of exocytic vesicles to specific docking sites on the plasma membrane, thereby facilitating membrane trafficking.
