Sck Antibody (E-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Sck protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Sck antibody (E-3) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Shc-like protein (Sck) plays a crucial role as a neuronal adaptor protein, featuring an N-terminal phosphotyrosine binding domain, a collagen homology domain, and a conserved C-terminal Src homology 2 domain. Sck is predominantly expressed in the liver, pancreas, prostate, and ovary, highlighting its significance in various physiological processes. Notably, in vascular endothelial cells, Sck is integral to the signaling pathways activated by vascular endothelial growth factor (VEGF). Upon VEGF treatment, Sck is recruited to the tyrosine-1175 site of the kinase insert domain-containing receptor (KDR), leading to enhanced tyrosine phosphorylation of Sck, which is essential for mediating cellular responses to growth factors and influencing angiogenesis.
