    SEE ALSO...

SAP 18 Antibody (C-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects SAP 18 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). SAP 18 (C-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. SAP 18 protein plays a crucial role in chromatin remodeling, which is essential for the regulation of gene expression. SAP 18 is part of the mSin3 corepressor complex, which also includes histone deacetylases HDAC1 and HDAC2, and is involved in the deacetylation of histones, leading to transcriptional silencing. This process is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and regulating developmental processes, as improper chromatin remodeling can result in aberrant gene expression and contribute to various diseases, including cancer. Using anti-SAP 18 antibody (C-3) in research can provide insights into the mechanisms of transcriptional regulation and the role of chromatin dynamics in cellular function.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from This antibody works in Arabidopsis, too!I ordered a free sample about a month ago. We tried it with Arabidopsis protein extract. It can recognize Arabidopsis SAP18 at 1:200 dilution. The signal was strong and specific. Because the limited amount of free sample in the tube, we were not able to try other dilutions.
