SEE ALSO...

RUNX1 Antibody (A-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RUNX1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RUNX1 antibody (A-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RUNX1, also known as AML1 or CBFA2, plays a critical role in hematopoiesis, the process of blood cell formation, and is essential for proper development of various blood cell lineages. RUNX1 regulates the expression of genes involved in cellular differentiation and cell cycle progression, making RUNX1 a key player in maintaining normal hematopoietic function. RUNX1 is frequently implicated in human leukemia due to chromosomal translocations that disrupt DNA-binding domain, leading to aberrant gene expression and oncogenesis. Beyond hematopoiesis, RUNX1 is crucial for sensory neuron diversification, promoting axonal growth and mediating TrkA transactivation in neural crest-derived sensory neurons. Alternative splicing of RUNX1 results in several isoforms, further diversifying functional roles in cellular processes.

Hello! What is the principle difference between sc-365644 and sc-365644 X? Is sc-365644 X validated for ChIP?

Asked by: Sveta K
Thank you for your question the TransCruz Reagent, sc-365644 X, is 10X more concentrated than the standard formulation of the antibody, in a buffer of PBS + azide (without gelatin). We are aware of one publication citing use of this antibody for ChIP. Please refer to PMID: 29779944 for more details.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with RUNX1 Antibody (A-2): sc-365644?

Asked by: jenni
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins (m-IgGκ) conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
