    SEE ALSO...

Rpp40 Antibody (G-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rpp40 protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rpp40 antibody (G-4) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rpp40, also known as ribonuclease P protein subunit p40 or RNASEP1, is a crucial component of the ribonuclease P complex, which is responsible for removing 5-prime leader sequences from precursor tRNA molecules, a vital step in tRNA maturation and protein synthesis. This protein consists of 363 amino acids and is primarily localized in the nucleolus, where Rpp40 plays a significant role in the processing of tRNA and other RNA species. The Rpp40 gene is highly conserved across various species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, mice, rats, chickens, and zebrafish, and is located on human chromosome 6p25.1, a region that harbors approximately 1,200 genes and is associated with critical biological functions, including immune response and neurodegenerative diseases. The presence of Rpp40 and its interaction with other ribonuclease P proteins, such as Rpp14, Rpp20, Rpp25, Rpp29, Rpp30, and Rpp38, underscores its importance in maintaining cellular RNA integrity and function, making anti-Rpp40 antibody (G-4) an essential tool for researchers studying RNA processing and related pathways.
