SEE ALSO...

ROD1 Antibody (C-1) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects ROD1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). ROD1 (C-1) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. ROD1, a mammalian homologue of the fission yeast nrd1 gene, plays a crucial role in regulating differentiation, a fundamental process necessary for proper formation of multicellular organisms. ROD1 is characterized by four RNA-binding domain repeats, which are essential for RNA processing and regulation. ROD1 is predominantly expressed in adult and embryonic hematopoietic cells and organs, where ROD1 has been shown to inhibit differentiation of human leukemia cells while allowing continued proliferation. ROD1′s ability to block differentiation highlights ROD1′s importance in maintaining cellular identity and function, making ROD1 a significant target for research into differentiation pathways and potential therapeutic interventions in hematological malignancies.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-398105 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
