    SEE ALSO...

RNase H1 Antibody (H-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG3 antibody that detects RNase H1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RNase H1 is a crucial cytoplasmic endonuclease that plays a vital role in the degradation of RNA within RNA-DNA hybrids, producing 5′-phosphomonoester products that are essential for maintaining genomic integrity and facilitating proper DNA replication and repair processes. The activity of RNase H1 can be inhibited by agents such as manganese ions and N-ethylmaleimide, highlighting the importance of metal ion regulation in its function. Notably, RNase H1 is consistently expressed across various human tissues, suggesting its role as a housekeeping protein, and is located on chromosome 2p25.3, with pseudogenes identified on chromosomes 17p11.2 and 1q. RNase H1 (H-9) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying RNA metabolism and the molecular mechanisms underlying cellular responses to DNA damage.
