SEE ALSO...

RIP3 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RIP3 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RIP3 Antibody (B-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RIP3 plays a crucial role in the regulation of programmed cell death, specifically in necroptosis, a form of regulated necrosis that is essential for maintaining tissue homeostasis and responding to cellular stress. The unique C-terminal death domain of RIP3 is vital for interaction with other death domain-containing proteins, facilitating the formation of signaling complexes that lead to cell death. Additionally, RIP3 exists in two splice variants, RIP3β and RIP3γ, which have truncated N-terminal kinase domains and shorter C-termini, ultimately modulating the apoptotic signaling pathway. Understanding RIP3 and its variants is important for elucidating the mechanisms of cell death and survival, which have significant implications in cancer research and therapeutic interventions.
