Ribosomal Protein S3 Antibody (C-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Ribosomal Protein S3 (RPS3) of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-RPS3 antibody (C-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RPS3 is a crucial component of the 40S ribosomal subunit, playing a significant role in translation and ribosome maturation. RPS3 mediates the formation of the mRNA binding site located 3′ of the codon in the decoding site, which is essential for accurate protein synthesis. RPS3 also participates in DNA damage recognition, demonstrating a strong affinity for abasic sites and 7,8-dihydro-8-oxoguanine residues.
