    SEE ALSO...

RIA1 Antibody (A-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects RIA1 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RIA1, also known as EFTUD1 or FAM42A, is a crucial protein involved in ribosome assembly, playing a significant role in protein synthesis within cells. Anti-RIA1 antibody (A-7) supports research in cellular function and growth, as ribosomes are the machinery that translates messenger RNA into polypeptides, which ultimately fold into functional proteins. The proper assembly and function of ribosomes are essential for maintaining cellular homeostasis and responding to stress, and any disruption in this process can lead to various diseases, including neurodevelopmental disorders. RIA1 exists as three alternatively spliced isoforms and is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 15, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Angelman and Prader-Willi syndromes, which arise from deletions or mutations affecting gene expression in this chromosomal region. RIA1 (A-7) antibody is an invaluable tool for researchers studying ribosome biogenesis and its implications in health and disease.
