    SEE ALSO...

Rho T2 Antibody (E-9) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects human Rho T2 by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rho T2 (E-9) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rho T2, also known as ARHT2, RASL, or MIRO-2, is a 618 amino acid single-pass type IV membrane protein that plays a crucial role in mitochondrial trafficking as a GTPase. Rho T2 is predominantly expressed in the pancreas, heart, kidney, and skeletal muscle, where Rho T2 influences the anterograde transport of mitochondria. Rho T2 interacts with kinesin-binding proteins such as OIP106 and GRIF-1, facilitating the connection between mitochondria and microtubules, which is essential for proper mitochondrial distribution and function within cells. The presence of two EF-hand domains and two miro domains in Rho T2 contributes to functional versatility, and Rho T2 is encoded by a gene located on human chromosome 16p13.3. The ability of Rho T2 to regulate mitochondrial dynamics is vital for maintaining cellular energy homeostasis and overall cell health, making anti-Rho T2 antibody (E-9) an important tool for researchers studying mitochondrial function and related diseases.
