Ret 抗体（C-3）是一种 IgG1 κ 小鼠单克隆 Ret 抗体，可通过 WB、IP、IF、IHC(P) 和 ELISA 技术检测人源 Ret 蛋白。Ret 抗体（C-3）既可以作为非偶联形式的抗 Ret 抗体，也可以作为多种偶联形式的抗 Ret 抗体，包括琼脂糖、HRP、PE、FITC 和多种 Alexa Fluor® 偶联物。Ret 原癌基因在结构上与不断增长的酪氨酸激酶跨膜受体家族相关，并参与 GDNF 信号传导。通过选择性剪接，产生两种 Ret 原癌基因产物的异构体。这些异构体彼此之间的区别在于分别具有 9 或 51 个羧基末端氨基酸。Ret 基因产物包括两种糖基化蛋白质，以及在衣霉素处理的细胞中，一种与基于序列分析预测的 Ret 分子量一致的非糖基化蛋白质。已在乳头状甲状腺癌中鉴定出 Ret 原癌基因的肿瘤特异性重排，导致形成共享 Ret 酪氨酸激酶结构域的不同转化融合蛋白。与 Ret 原癌基因相反，重排形式在酪氨酸上被组成性磷酸化，并从膜易位到细胞质。

Hi I previously used your C-20 RET ab and was very happy with it, as it is not discontinued I am looking for an alternative RET ab for IHC that is preferably not rabbit. Would it be possible to test a trial size of sc-365943 to check to see how it works?

what is the smaller band in your western blot data? should I expect to see this small band beside 150 and 170 kDa size bands?

Thanks for your question! Yes, you can sometimes see additional banding in transfected lysate tests due to incomplete products of translation. These are different than endogenous protein bands. Please reach out directly to your local distributor for further technical assistance if you wish to discuss your results.

Hello, will this antibody recognize mouse RET in WB (mouse cell line lysate)?

Thank you for your question. We have not confirmed reactivity in mouse samples using this antibody, and so mouse is not a recommended species at this time. We currently recommend using an alternative antibody, Ret Antibody (6E4C4): sc-101423, for mouse, rat and human samples. https://www.scbt.com/scbt/product/ret-antibody-6e4c4

Hi, I am looking for a good anti-Ret antibody for rat brain tissue IHC.  In the past I used your antibody that had been discontinued. Can I use Ret Antibody (C-3): sc-365943 for the same purpose? Does it bind rat Ret? Thank you, Maja

Thank you for your question. Ret Antibody (C-3): sc-365943 is only recommended for the detection of Ret isoforms A and C of human origin by WB, IP, IF, IHC(P) and ELISA. We offer an alternative antibody against the same epitope, Ret Antibody (6E4C4): sc-101423, which is specific against the epitope from rat and is recommended for IHC. Can Ret (C-3): sc-365943 monoclonal antibody be used in IF or IHC with mouse tissue or cells? Will there be non-specific staining?

Thank you for your inquiry. The use of mouse monoclonal antibodies with mouse samples is very common and typically poses no problem. To eliminate any potential cross-reactivity of an anti-mouse secondary detection reagent, Ret (C-3): sc-365943 is available in a variety of direct conjugations, such as HRP, PE, FITC and AlexaFluors.
