Relaxin Receptor 2 Antibody (H-4) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Relaxin Receptor 2 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Relaxin Receptor 2 (H-4) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Relaxin Receptor 2, also known as Relaxin/insulin-like family peptide receptor 2, RXFP2, LGR8, GREAT, GPR106, INSL3R, or RXFPR2, is a crucial member of the G protein-coupled receptor family, which plays a significant role in mediating extracellular signals into intracellular responses. Relaxin Receptor 2 is primarily located in the cell membrane and is characterized by ten leucine-rich repeats and an LDL-receptor class A domain. Upon binding with ligands, Relaxin or insulin-like peptide 3 (INSL3), Relaxin Receptor 2 activates adenylate cyclase, resulting in an increase in intracellular cyclic adenosine monophosphate (cAMP) levels. cAMP is a vital second messenger that regulates various physiological processes, including hormone signaling and cellular activity modulation. Proper functioning of Relaxin Receptor 2 is essential, as mutations in the gene encoding this receptor can lead to conditions such as cryptorchidism, which is associated with an increased risk of infertility and testicular cancer. Using anti-Relaxin Receptor 2 antibody (H-4) in research can provide valuable insights into the signaling pathways and physiological roles of this important receptor.
