SEE ALSO...

Reg IIIα/γ Antibody (B-10) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Reg III alpha / gamma protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Reg IIIα/γ (B-10) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Reg III family of proteins plays a crucial role in regulating cell growth and differentiation, particularly in the pancreas, where Reg IIIγ, also known as regenerating islet-derived 3 gamma, is predominantly expressed. This 175 amino acid secreted protein maintains intestinal homeostasis and acts as an antimicrobial agent, helping to control bacterial proliferation, especially during conditions such as acute pancreatitis. The gene encoding Reg IIIγ is located on human chromosome 2, which contains numerous genes essential for various biological functions. Reg IIIγ′s ability to modulate immune response and involvement in inflammatory processes highlight its importance in both health and disease, making anti-Reg IIIα/γ antibody (B-10) a valuable tool for researchers studying these pathways.
