SEE ALSO...

RBP-Jκ Antibody (E-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RBP-Jκ protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RBP-Jκ (E-7) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. The Recombination Signal Binding Protein Jκ (RBP-Jκ), also known as KBF2 or CBF1, plays a crucial role in gene expression regulation and is essential for the Notch signaling pathway, which drives cell differentiation and development. RBP-Jκ predominantly resides in the nucleus, functioning as a transcriptional regulator by binding to DNA and interacting with the cleaved intracellular domain of the Notch 1 receptor. RBP-Jκ′s nuclear localization enables modulation of target genes, including NFκB p52 and the Epstein-Barr virus (EBV) protein EBNA-2, both critical for various cellular processes and immune responses. RBP-Jκ′s interaction with Notch 1 underscores RBP-Jκ′s significance in cellular communication and development, making anti-RBP-Jκ antibody (E-7) an invaluable tool for researchers studying gene regulation and signaling pathways in mammalian systems.
