    SEE ALSO...

RBM17 Antibody (F-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects RBM17 of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RBM17 (F-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RBM17, also known as SPF45 (splicing factor 45), is a 401 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in the nucleus, where it contains one G-patch domain and one RNA recognition motif (RRM) domain. RBM17 is integral to the spliceosome complex, functioning as a splicing factor that binds to specific regions at the intron/exon borders, thereby regulating alternative splicing and the utilization of cryptic splice sites. The importance of RBM17 in alternative splicing is underscored by its involvement in various cellular processes, including gene expression regulation and the generation of protein diversity, which are essential for normal cellular function and development. The gene encoding RBM17 is located on human chromosome 10, a region associated with several genetic disorders, including Charcot-Marie-Tooth disease and multiple endocrine neoplasia type 2, highlighting the clinical significance of RBM17 in human health.
