RASAL1 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects RASAL1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). RASAL1 (B-2) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. RASAL1 protein, consisting of 804 amino acids, exists in two alternatively spliced isoforms and features a unique structure that includes one Ras-GAP domain, one pleckstrin homology (PH) domain, one Btk-type zinc finger, and two C2 domains. This intricate structure enables RASAL1 to interact with and regulate the Ras-cyclic AMP signaling pathway, which controls cellular proliferation and differentiation. RASAL1 is predominantly expressed in the thyroid and adrenal medulla, with lower expression levels in the trachea, brain, and spinal cord. Reduced levels of RASAL1 have been linked to the progression of various human cancers, highlighting RASAL1′s potential function in tumor suppression and apoptosis regulation.
