Ral A/B Antibody (F-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 antibody that detects Ral A/B in mouse, rat, and human samples through various applications including western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry with paraffin-embedded sections (IHCP), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Ral A/B proteins play a crucial role in cellular signaling pathways, particularly in the regulation of exocytosis and cytoskeletal dynamics, which are essential for processes such as cell migration and proliferation. Ral A/B proteins interact with specific downstream effectors, including RalBP1, which contains a Rho-GTPase-activating domain that preferentially interacts with the Rho family member Cdc42. This interaction is vital for the modulation of actin cytoskeleton dynamics, influencing cellular morphology and movement. Additionally, Ral A/B proteins are implicated in the activation of phospholipase D by v-Src, highlighting their role in oncogenic signaling pathways.
