SEE ALSO...

Rad51D Antibody (5B3/6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody engineered to detect human Rad51D protein with exceptional accuracy in applications such as western blotting (WB) and immunoprecipitation (IP). Anti-Rad51D antibody (5B3/6) is raised against a His-tagged recombinant full-length human Rad51D protein, ensuring robust and specific binding to the target antigen. Rad51D, also called TRAD, R51H3, Rad51l3, and Trad-d5, is a critical member of the Rad52 family of proteins, playing an essential role in homologous recombination repair (HRR) of DNA double-strand breaks, which is vital for maintaining genomic stability and preventing mutations that can lead to cancerous transformations. Structurally, Rad51D interacts specifically with other Rad51 paralogs, including Rad51C, XRCC2, and XRCC3, forming multi-protein complexes such as the BCDX2 complex that are crucial for formation and stabilization of RAD51 nucleoprotein filaments necessary for accurate DNA repair. Additionally, Rad51D interacts with key tumor suppressor proteins BRCA1 and BRCA2, facilitating recruitment and localization to sites of DNA damage, thereby enhancing cellular response to DNA breaks and ensuring efficient repair processes. These interactions are fundamental for coordinating DNA damage response and maintaining genomic integrity, as disruptions in Rad51D interactions can lead to genomic instability, a hallmark of many cancers. Rad51D (5B3/6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated form and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® dyes, providing versatile options for diverse experimental setups. By utilizing Rad51D (5B3/6) monoclonal antibody, researchers can gain deeper insights into protein interactions involved in DNA repair mechanisms, understanding Rad51D′s role in maintaining genomic integrity, and implications in cancer development and therapeutic interventions.
