SEE ALSO...

Rad50 Antibody (G-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rad50 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rad50 antibody (G-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rad50 plays a crucial role in DNA double-strand break repair (DSBR) pathway, which is essential for maintaining genomic stability and preventing cell death, mutations, or neoplastic transformation. Rad50 functions as part of a protein complex that recognizes and binds to DNA breaks, facilitating recruitment of other repair proteins such as Rad51 and MRE11. This interaction is vital for homologous recombination repair process, which ensures accurate repair of DNA damage. Rad50′s ability to form a stable complex with Rad51 and BRCA1/BRCA2 highlights its importance in cellular response to DNA damage, as mutations in these pathways can lead to genomic instability and cancer. Multiple format options for Rad50 (G-2) antibody enable versatile applications in research, helping scientists explore intricate mechanisms of DNA repair and implications in cancer biology.
