SEE ALSO...

Rad23A Antibody (D-6) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rad23A protein of human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rad23A (D-6) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rad23A protein plays a critical role in nucleotide excision repair (NER), a vital cellular mechanism that removes DNA lesions caused by ultraviolet light and other forms of damage. Rad23A protein is essential for maintaining genomic stability, as Rad23A helps ensure damaged DNA is accurately repaired, thereby preventing mutations that could lead to cancer and other diseases. Rad23A protein interacts with the 26S proteasome, facilitating the degradation of damaged proteins and contributing to cellular homeostasis. Rad23A protein′s structure includes an N-terminal ubiquitin-like domain and a C-terminal ubiquitin-associated domain, both of which are crucial for function and are conserved across species from yeast to humans. These domains allow Rad23A protein to effectively mediate repair processes and regulate proteasome activity, highlighting Rad23A′s importance in cellular responses to DNA damage.

Rated 5 out of 5 by from Good antibody for cell lines such HeLa SSC25Good antibody for cell lines such HeLa SSC25 and HEK293s. Was able to detect Rad23A from human keratinocytes but barely detectable in primary mouse keratinocytes. However was able to detect Rad23A from mouse tissues (epidermis l, lung etc) ie antibody can detect mouse Rad23A. Blots were clean
