Rab 7L1 Antibody (D-8) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2b kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 7L1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). anti-Rab 7L1 antibody (D-8) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rab 7L1, also known as RAB7L, is a 203 amino acid protein that plays a crucial role in intracellular transport processes, particularly in vesicle movement between endoplasmic reticulum and Golgi apparatus, as well as in endocytosis. Rab 7L1 is essential for proper functioning of cellular trafficking pathways, which maintain cellular homeostasis and facilitate communication between different cellular compartments. Rab 7L1 features four GTP-binding domains and shares 94% identity with rat protein Rab 29 and 35% identity with Rab 7. Rab 7L1′s ubiquitous expression and localization to cell membrane make this protein a significant marker for T cells, further underscoring Rab 7L1′s importance in immune responses. Rab 7L1′s role in vesicular transport highlights potential therapeutic applications in diseases where cellular transport mechanisms are disrupted.
