Rab 5C Antibody (H-3) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 5C protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rab 5C (H-3) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rab 5C protein plays a crucial role in intracellular membrane trafficking, particularly in regulating endocytosis and protein transport from endoplasmic reticulum to Golgi apparatus and beyond. Rab 5C protein localizes primarily to early endosomes, where Rab 5C participates in transport vesicle formation and movement, ensuring proteins are correctly sorted and delivered to their cellular destinations. Proper Rab 5C function is vital for maintaining cellular homeostasis and facilitating organelle communication, as disruptions can lead to various diseases, including neurodegenerative disorders and cancer. Rab 5C protein interacts with several effector proteins that mediate cellular transport mechanisms, further underscoring Rab 5C′s importance in cellular processes.
