SEE ALSO...

Rab 34 Antibody (C-5) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 34 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), immunohistochemistry, and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Rab 34 (C-5) antibody is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rab 34 is a member of the Ras-related superfamily of guanine nucleotide-binding proteins, which play crucial roles in intracellular transport processes. Specifically, anti-Rab 34 antibody (C-5) targets a protein involved in regulating vesicle trafficking, particularly in transporting newly synthesized proteins from the endoplasmic reticulum to the Golgi apparatus and ultimately to secretory vesicles. This function maintains cellular homeostasis and ensures proteins reach their correct destinations, essential for proper cell function and communication. Rab proteins, including Rab 34, are implicated in vesicle exocytosis to the plasma membrane, highlighting their importance in secretion and signaling pathways. Through facilitating these critical transport processes, Rab 34 serves as a key player in cellular dynamics, making anti-Rab 34 antibody (C-5) an invaluable tool for researchers studying vesicle trafficking and related cellular mechanisms.

What application is the blocking peptide sc-376710 P appropriate for?

Asked by: TinTin
Thank you for your question. The blocking peptide is intended for use as a negative control, by pre-adsorbing the mouse monoclonal antibody against the antigen. For full protocol details, please contact our Technical Services Department or view our online protocol here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/resources/protocols/peptide-neutralization
