    SEE ALSO...

Rab 3 GAP p150 Antibody (H-7) is a mouse monoclonal IgG1 kappa light chain antibody that detects Rab 3 GAP p150 in mouse, rat, and human samples through applications such as western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). Anti-Rab 3 GAP p150 antibody (H-7) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. Rab 3 GAP p150, also referred to as RAB3GAP2 or the Rab3 GTPase-activating protein non-catalytic subunit, is a crucial protein consisting of 1,393 amino acids and is part of the Rab3-GAP regulatory subunit family. This protein plays a significant role in regulating synaptic vesicle exocytosis, which is essential for neurotransmitter release and proper neuronal communication. Defects in Rab 3 GAP p150 are linked to Martsolf and Warburg Micro syndrome, both of which present with congenital cataracts, microphthalmia, postnatal microcephaly, and developmental delays, inherited in an autosomal recessive manner. The Rab3 GTPase-activating complex, which includes Rab 3 GAP p150, forms a heterodimer with RAB3GAP and interacts with DMXL2, highlighting its importance in cellular signaling pathways. The gene encoding Rab 3 GAP p150 is conserved across various species, including chimpanzees, dogs, cows, rats, chickens, zebrafish, fruit flies, mosquitoes, Arabidopsis thaliana, and rice, and maps to human chromosome 1q41.
