    SEE ALSO...

PWP1 Antibody (B-2) is a mouse monoclonal IgG2a kappa light chain antibody that detects PWP1 protein of mouse, rat, and human origin by western blotting (WB), immunoprecipitation (IP), immunofluorescence (IF), and enzyme-linked immunosorbent assay (ELISA). PWP1 Antibody (B-2) is available in both non-conjugated and various conjugated forms, including agarose, horseradish peroxidase (HRP), phycoerythrin (PE), fluorescein isothiocyanate (FITC), and multiple Alexa Fluor® conjugates. PWP1, or Periodic Tryptophan Protein 1, is a 501 amino acid protein that serves as the human homolog of the Saccharomyces cerevisiae periodic Trp protein. PWP1 is primarily localized in the nucleus and is highly expressed in the kidneys, pancreas, placenta, and skeletal muscle, where PWP1 plays a crucial role in transcription regulation and cell growth. Notably, PWP1 is involved in the interaction with chromatin through association with histone tails, particularly the H4 tail, which is essential for maintaining chromatin structure and function. The presence of five WD-repeats in PWP1 suggests potential involvement in protein-protein interactions, which may contribute to the development of pancreatic cancer and the regulation of chaperone activities in the endoplasmic reticulum, as well as signal transduction pathways in the nucleus.

I am using the LiCor/Odyssey system. Which secondary antibody do you recommend using with PWP1 (B-2): sc-166656?

    Asked by: TinTin
We recommend using one of our our exclusive Mouse IgG Binding Proteins conjugated to CFL 680 or CFL 790. They are suitable for use with Near-Infrared (NIR) detection systems, such as LI-COR/Odyssey and other comparable systems. A complete list of available binding proteins is available on our website here: https://www.scbt.com/scbt/browse/support-products-mouse-igg-binding-proteins/_/N-ecrety
